REACTION COURSEWORK AIM My aim is to find weather varying the concentration of hydrochloric acid affects the speed of a reaction when mixing it with sodium thio sulphate. INTRODUCTION For my chemistry coursework I will be mixing hydrochloric acid, of different concentrations, with sodium thio sulphate to find if the concentration affects the speed of the reaction. I will be carrying out the experiment in class using various chemicals and bits of equipment. We will time the experiment until the light intensity increases by 5%. I will collect results, obtain evidence and put it into clear tables and graphs. I will carry out the series of experiments in a fair way and will also be researching other variables. VARIABLES & FAIR TEST To make my coursework have a meaning I have to have several variables, my independent variable is the concentration of the acid this variable is one you are constantly changing.
