Science Coursework Factors that affect the rate of a reaction Aim In my experiment I am going to find out what affects the rate of a reaction, there are three factors that affect the rate of a reaction and these are * Temperature * Surface (we cannot use this because its two different liquids) * Concentration * Catalyst In my experiment I am going to investigate the concentration between sodium thiosulphate, Hydrochloric acid and water. In my experiment I am keeping the acid to 15ml al the way through and varying the water and sodium thiosulphate so we can see if the reaction happens faster or slower if we decrease or increase the concentration of it. To allow this to be a fair test, this experiment will take place at room temperature. Also, several readings will be taken, in order for average results. Hypothesis I predict that as the concentration of sodium thiosulphate is increased, the rate of reaction will increase....
