Chemistry Coursework- Rate of Reaction Introduction During this experiment, I hope to find out how concentration of acid affects rate of reaction. I will react marble chips with various concentrations of hydrochloric acid and record how much Carbon Dioxide is evolved. Usually, the faster the reaction the more Carbon Dioxide is given off. From my results I will produce a graph, which will tell me more about the rate of reaction. I can use my knowledge of science as well various resources to explain my results. Finally, I can evaluate my results, stating problems I encountered, how I got round them, and ways I could improve or extend my experiment. Plan There are various ways this experiment could be carried out. Plotting time against rate of reaction for example.
