An investigation to see what effect temperature has on the rate of reaction of Sodium Thio. PLANNING: Aim: The aim of the investigation is to see what effect temperature has on rate of reaction. Variables: I will change the temperature each time. I will measure the time it takes for the cross to disappear. To make it a fair test I will keep the amount of Sodium Thio, Acid and water. I will also keep the cross on the paper the same so that it is the same size for each temperature. Prediction: I think that the higher the temperature, the quicker the reaction. I predict this because I know that higher temperatures mean that the particles would mover faster. Therefore there would be more collisions. More collisions mean that the reaction would happen quicker. Hence the higher the temp = faster rate of reaction Plan: To do the experiment I will need: •Small...
