An Investigation to Show How Temperature Effects the Rate of Reaction Hypothesis: The higher the temperature the faster the reaction rate. Diagrams: Hydrochloric Acid Sodium Thiosulphate Measuring Cylinder Bunsen Burner Large beaker with black cross drawn on. Method: In this experiment I will use a concentration of 50cm³ of Sodium Thiosulphate and 5cm³ of Hydrochloric Acid. The concentrations will be measured with a measuring cylinder and then stored in beakers with the names on them so I can easily detract one from the other. To put the beakers on and to know when the reaction is complete I will put a large black cross underneath a large beaker and then cello tape it to the large beaker so that you can see the cross when looking down on the beaker which will be useful so I know when the reaction is complete and when to stop the clock. I will rest the beaker of...
