Title The title of this piece of coursework is 'An investigation of the effect of concentration change on the rate of the reaction between magnesium and hydrochloric acid'. Aim I am going to investigate the relationship between the concentration rate of Hydrochloric acid and Magnesium reaction. Summary In this experiment, I will us different concentration rate of hydrochloric acid to react with magnesium and discover the time it takes to complete the reaction. I will also use three states of magnesium. Ribbon turning and powder, to see if there is any influence on the timing if different states of magnesium are used. I will take a few measurements during the experiment: 1. How long it takes to release a certain amount of gases? 2. What is the maximum amount of gas produced in 7 minutes? 3.
