An investigation of the effect of concentration change on the rate of the reaction between magnesium and hydrochloric acid. Title The title of this piece of coursework is 'An investigation of the effect of concentration change on the rate of the reaction between magnesium and hydrochloric acid'. Aim I am going to investigate the relationship between the concentration rate of Hydrochloric acid and Magnesium reaction. Summary In this experiment, I will us different concentration rate of hydrochloric acid to react with magnesium and discover the time it takes to complete the reaction. I will also use three states of magnesium. Ribbon turning and powder, to see if there is any influence on the timing if different states of magnesium are used. I will take a few measurements during the experiment: 1. How long it takes to release a certain amount of gases? 2. What is the maximum amount of gas produced in 7 minutes? 3. Compare the different of reaction...
