Chemistry Fuels Investigation I am investigating the reaction between: - Hydrochloric + Sodium sulphur(s) + sulphur + sodium Acid Thiosulphate dioxide chloric The hypothesis is: - If you double the concentration used, the rate of reaction will also double. In the experiment I expect that when I double the concentration the rate of reaction will also double. To do this I will follow a procedure to ensure the experiments are as fair as possible. The procedure is below: - Prep * Check equipment is clean * Put on goggles Then I will * Collect equipment (see equipment list). * Set up apparatus as show below. * Measure out 3 sets of acid, sodium thiosulphate and water, to the correct amount shown on the results table. * Add the sodium and acid. * Then at the acid and set of the stop clock. * Watch until the cross is no longer visible and stop the clock. * Record the results in...
