Should we use G.M food?

... Should we use G.M food? Genetically modified or G.M foods are foods produced from plants or animals which have had their genes altered by scientists. By changing the genes, they can alter the characteristics of an animal or plant to receive desired properties in that organism. For many years farmer had cross bred crops and plants to produce desirable characteristics (the best of both). Genetic engineering, which is the process the food goes through, has a very complicated scientific background and it considerably a recent thing. Scientists say that this breakthrough will allow them to go to new depths and resolve some of today's major problems.[1] I this case study I will be going through both sides of the story and decide whether G.M foods should be used or whether we should banned them completely. The first genetically modified food was created in 1983 and was a tobacco plant that was antibiotic
