Introduction For my chemistry coursework I have been set the task of investigating and producing an answer, for the gas produce of Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate when it has been heated using a crucible and lid, a Bunsen burner and some of the Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate. I will time each separate heating phase and record each mass after a period of time to see how much changes and to see when the mass has stopped producing. So my input variable here will be the Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate (NaHCO3). I will need to consider how many possible equations there are and pick out the ones which I think are most likely to be possible. Questions I should ask myself: What does it become after heating? What will the mass become after heating? What is the final equation for the experiment? What is the gas given off after heating? My prediction is that the mass of the Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate...
