Carly Ridout What factors affect the amount of Copper Deposited onto the electrode during Electrolysis? In this experiment I am going to find out what factors affect the amount of copper deposited onto one of the electrodes. To do this I will use a method called Electrolysis. There are many factors that can affect the amount of copper deposited that you can change, but I have chosen to concentrate on changing the strength of the copper solution. Other factors that I could have chosen from, which could also affect the amount of copper deposited are: * Changing the voltage - which would mean a faster flow of electrons * Changing the current - which means there would be more electrons * Changing the surface area of the electrode - which means with a greater surface area, there would be more space for the copper ions to gain electrons * Changing the type of electrodes - would mean...
