Introduction In this study it was stated that an investigation should take place to research the electroplating of copper using copper electrodes. In a simplistic way of putting this, is that it is using electrolysis. In order for this to be introduced properly a fairly high level of understanding of electrolysis must be met. In order for this to occur a brief explanation of the subject shall be given. Electrolysis is used often to extract aluminium from its ore and to purify copper.
