Electrolysis with water Predictions: 1. Distance between the electrodes I predict that the current will decrease if the distance between the anode and cathode are quite far apart because the ions have further to travel and their energy will wear off. Water molecules also don't help to carry the current along instead they block up the way for the current flowing so the further the distance the harder it is for the current to flow. 2. Depth of electrode: I predict that the deeper the concentration that the electrodes are in, the faster the current will flow.
