The effect of concentration of the rate of reaction Aim: The aim of this investigation is to find out if and hot the concentration of a solution affects the speed of a chemical reaction. Equipment: The equipment require for this investigation are listed below:> 15 test tubes (to hold the Hydrochloric acid & to see the HCL reacting with the Magnesium)> Magnesium ribbon of length 20 cm (divided into 15 pieces to react with the HCL)> Scissors (to cut the magnesium into 15 pieces)> Emery paper (to rub off the Magnesium oxide)> Hydrochloric acid (450 ml in total)> Stopwatch (to time how long it takes for the Magnesium to finish reacting with the HCL)> Test tube rack (to hold the test tubes containing Hydrochloric acid & the HCL reacting with Mg)> Goggles (safety)> Pen and paper with table of results (to record how long it takes for the Magnesium to react...
