Planning Problem: Finding the accurate concentration of sulphuric acid. Apparatus and Materials: sodium carbonate, sulphuric (IV) acid solution, standard volumetric flask, weighing scales, distilled water, pipette, safety pipette filler, clamp stand, conical flask, burette, methyl orange indicator, Method 1. Weigh out 5g of sodium carbonate on the scales, onto a piece of paper. 2. Transfer the sodium carbonate crystals into a 100cm3 beaker. Add distilled water and stir with a glass rod, until all the crystals dissolve. 3. Pour the contents of this beaker into a standard volumetric flask. Add distilled water until the solution reaches the 250cm3 mark. 4. Using a pipette and safety pipette filler, draw out 25cm3 of the solution and transfer this into a conical flask. 5.
