Rate of reaction I am going to find out if the rate of reaction is affected by concentration of hydrochloric acid or concentration of sodium thiosulphate. I will put a cross on a piece of paper underneath the conical flasks and measure out sodium thiosulphate and hydrochloric acid. I will time how long it takes for the cross to disappear because the solution has gone cloudy. The timing will stop when the X has disappeared. I will then repeat the experiment with a different concentration of hydrochloric acid, and sodium thiosulphate. When the sodium thiosulphate and the hydrochloric acid react, sulphur is formed. I will be measuring the amount of time it takes for both reactants to go cloudy and yellow as more sulphur is formed. The equipment I will be using is: * 1 molar hydrochloric acid * 2 molar hydrochloric acid * 3 molar hydrochloric acid * 4 molar hydrochloric acid * 5 molar hydrochloric acid *...
