Prediction I think that the less concentrated acid will react quicker because if I have more particles of acid there is more chance of a collision. Apparatus. Goggles Measuring Cylinder Conical Flask Thiosulphate Acid Piece of Paper with X On It Stop Watch Papete Method 1 Put 50ml of Thiosulphate in conical flask. 2 Draw a big X (cross) on my piece of paper. 3 Add 10ml of acid and as soon as the acid hits the thiosulphate then the stop watch starts. 4 Then stop the watch when the cross disappears 5 This will show when the particles have collided as there will be no cross at the bottom of the conical flask 6 Do this three times to make the results accurate. 7 At the end of the third time look at my results and get an average time. 8 Repeat this experiment with the table below.
