Introduction In this task I will be explaining the role of a manger of Cadburys and also how the role of management can improve the performance of the business. Describing the role of management Managements use organisation structures to send messages through to and from other people within the company. There are different types of organisation structures such as flat, hierarchical, matrix. The flat organisation structure is used to send information across the business as the hierarchical structure is used to send up and down messages or even orders throughout the business. Different structures Flat - wide span of control and total accountability. Hierarchical - mainly used in bigger companies. Matrix - controlled by project or production line.
