Quality of Work life is an aspect of work, that when appropriately tackled, addresses employee dignity, trust, and security. Only recently has this been seen as an imperative part of the work environment and now due to this change, redesigning jobs to improve employee satisfaction and productivity are researched with great consideration before implementation. Improving quality of work life is a necessary first step, but by itself, it is not enough to deal with the problem of organization of work and production that in many respects fails to serve the purpose for which it was devised. It became such that a person had to work full-time in a job, on a permanent basis and during fixed hours, if s/he wished to be guaranteed job security and attractive fringe benefits.1 This decreased employee enthusiasm because of the lack of involvement and decision-making power resulting in a decreased quality of work life....
