Introduction People seek employment for a number of reasons. Pay is an important motivator for most employees: but people also appear to want to work for a number of other reasons, in the hope of getting job satisfaction. Motivation is important in business, since it identities how contented or satisfied a firm's employees are. Motivation is about how keen and committed a person is in performing a task or job. Using successful motivation can improve the productivity of workers that causes the lower cost for each item. So the profit margin become larger that allows the firms decrease the price. Finally the firms will gain the competitive advantage. Workers who are highly motivated tend to work efficiently: if they have a low level of motivation, output will suffer and industrial disputes can result.
