There are many factors that can motivate and de - motivate staff in any organisation in the United Kingdom and is extremely important because if a business have motivated staff then the company will achieve better results and become more productive. The driving force in motivating any staff in an organisation is always the businesses goals, aims and objectives. They are set at a strategic level by boards, governors, and committees throughout the company. Employers need to be to be able to motivate staff to help bring their goals into line to achieve the organisations goals. Management style is in effect the leadership of an organisation for it reflects the definition of leadership - "the ability to influence other people to do something".
