Introduction "Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is an integrated set of programs that provides support for core organizational activities such as manufacturing and logistics, finance and accounting, sales and marketing, and human resources. An ERP system helps the different parts of the organization share data and knowledge, reduce costs, and improve management of business processes" (Aladwani, 2001). In spite of their numerous benefits ERP systems continue to fail and one of the main reasons for this is the sheer size and complexity of these implementations that makes managing these projects difficult. Many of the issues involved in the implementation of an ERP system are not so much technical as they are people-related and culture-related (Ragowsky and Somers, 2002).
