Supervision Assignment Monique Dean As a front desk supervisor at the King James Hotel, I was responsible for hiring a new front desk agent. I chose Biff, and 18-year-old male who had just completed High School. His wishes were to snowboard for a couple of years before traveling around the world. Biff is a happy go lucky type, at times he is slightly irresponsible, but mostly has a good attitude. Upon notification from the general manager of the property, I was to conduct employee evaluations for all employees in my department. The evaluation interviews were held in the hotel in a small meeting room rather secluded from the majority of banquet rooms and guestrooms. By giving the employees the option of bringing a beverage into the interview created a much more relaxed atmosphere.
