Analysis of local labour market I have decided to look at how the Redbridge branch of Tesco would use local labour market information when recruiting a supervisor. It is important to understand what a local labour market is. It is a particular group of potential employees locally who passes the skills and knowledge required by an organisation at a particular point in time. Redbridge is large place, where large densities of people live, which allows employers to reach a large amount of people. The table below shows the population of Redbridge area for Males and Females in certain ages. The figures above will effect Tesco's Human Resources Planing when making sure that the organisation has the right number of employees. Population in local area is one thing that Tesco could look at.
