There are two types of stress management- * The Physiological Method * The Psychological Method Physiological Stress Management The Physiological method focuses on drugs helping the individual with the coping of stress. The two main drug groups are- * Anti-anxiety- which is a minor form of tranquilliser * Antidepressants These types of drugs focus on helping the individual usually for a short period of time. However, problems with this type of treatment, they tend to have side effects also when the medication stops the anxiety then returns. Another form of physiological treatment is- * Biofeedback It provides people with information about their bodily processes e.g. heart rate. It gives people awareness of their bodily processes during stress and aims to help them to control their bodily processes. Biofeedback helps a person feel in control and helps them make significant short- term changes e.g. lowering their blood...
