Roxanne Dabiri Course work 1: Leisure and Tourism Marketing AIM My aim is to Asses David Lloyds marketing activities, which is a national company and compare it to the marketing activities of a local independent travel agent called Bath Travel. I have chosen to study David Lloyd because it's a successful leisure centre and it is close to where I live. I believe that one of the key factors in its success is/ has been its marketing. I am also going to compare the way in which these two companies advertise them selves. David Lloyd It is a large leisure centre with 57 clubs in Uk and Ireland. It has over 320,000 members. The one I am going to study about is based in Bournemouth. The facilities it provides for its members are: * Gymnasiums providing the latest in cardio-vascular * Indoor & outdoor tennis facilities * Squash and badminton courts * Swimming pools * Sauna, steam room and spa areas *
