As a former telecommunications monopoly, SingTel has approximately 1.5 million mobile phone users in Singapore, owning more than 50% of the market share. However, SingTel faces a huge dilemma as growth in the market is slow due to the saturation of the market. Statistics show, 7 out of 10 Singaporeans own mobile phones.
