Question 6, p.113 - Is it possible to answer the question 'Could Germany afford the reparation payments?' with a simple yes or no? Explain your answer. I think it depends. If you don't know the amount of payment that Germany had to pay, then you can't only say yes or no. If you don't know in which position the German is or what will really happen to them later on, you won't be able only to say yes or no. But for me, if you know that it's a very big price for them to pay and that after they pay it, it can lead the German to collapse and make the residents suffering with hunger, then my answer will be no, Germany couldn't afford the reparation payments.
