History How far did the us economy boom in the 1920`s Throughout the 1920s the future for most Americans looked bright as the economy was booming. America had emerged from the First World War as the world's largest economic power. The fighting had been far away from home so they had seen no damage to any of its infrastructure. Together with them having joined the war late so having lost little money and the fact that they were owed a very Large amount of money by its allies from loans during the war. They also had taken over the foreign markets for Britain, France and Germany. The republicans were in power through out the 1920`s and they were very supportive towards businessmen and they tried to increase the economy.
