Dominica is the most northerly and largest of the Windward Islands, situated between Guadeloupe to the north and Martinique to the south. It covers about 760 square kilometers and has mountains rising up to 1500 m. The climate is hot and dry, but it is perfect to grow bananas. The average annual temperature is 25 C which causes hurricanes in the summer. Dominica is most famous for its beautiful rainforest and waterfalls which result from high rainfalls in the interior. There are also lovely lakes and breath taking volcanos. Several national parks contain crater lakes and famous sights. Dominica is a great place to see whales, dive in an ice clear...
