One of these activities is the cutting down of forest trees for industrial purposes, in other words, known as deforestation. Deforestation often leads to the on-going conflict between satisfying short-term human needs and affecting ecosystems at a large scale in the long term.Deforestation has a variety of impacts on the environment.( Biologymad.com, Deforestation). The causes of deforestation are human needs themselves. As there is more land needed for agriculture due to the continuous increase in human population. Also, trees are a non-renewable source used for fuels and timber by the chemical industry.
