Deforestation Fion Lai Food is one of life's basic necessities. People produce them around the globe by using a wide variety of agricultural practices. Hence, agriculture is one of the biggest businesses in the world. However, human activities always affect the balance of the ecosystem. Forest is a valuable community of the biodiversity. It contains high diversity, with complex food webs - it contains a large gene pool of plant and animal resources. Also, it plays a very essential role in converting carbon into the way that organisms can absorb. It also converts the nutrients in soil for organism and prevents erosion in regions of high rainfall. The growth in human population increases the demand of land of farming. This causes deforestation. Deforestation upset the whole ecosystem.
