Have a little read: ... Planning Objective: We aimed in examining the appearance or distribution of 3 plant species in a field. We went to a field, there, each group was given a quadrant and a set of 15 different instructions. We had to follow those instructions one by one (i.e. 1. go 15 steps north, 2. 7 steps east etc.), after each instruction we had to put our quadrant down and count the number of plants of each species. In order to make the experiment fair, each group went to 15 different parts of the field. This way we covered a significant area of the field. When we went back to class we got the results from all the groups. We had to find the average number of plants per square meter.
