Biotechnology and Genetics Essay Introduction The question that we will be answering in the essay is:- "What impact does biotechnology has on today's society"? Biotechnology is a technique that is use with living organisms, or parts of organisms, to make or modify products, or to improve plants or animals, or to develop micro organisms for specific uses. Biotechnology's long term promise also contains elements that are affecting human beings. Worrying about global population growth and stress on natural resources means there is a great need to not only improve production on currently cultivated land but also to begin growing food on the uncultivated land.
