An investigation to see what affects the speed of cooling from a beaker filled with hot water! Prediction: My prediction of this experiment is that the more layers of insulation I apply, the slower the water will take to cool down. This is the insulation keeps a lot of the heat inside the beaker and in the water. In my trial experiment I did the experiment twice. First time I did not apply any layers, second time I wrapped 4 layers around my beaker. I filled my beakers with 100ml of boiling hot water. I used the stopwatch to time every minute for 5minutes.
