WE ARE INVESTIGATING HOW TEMPERATURE AFFECTS ENZYME ACTIVITY PLANNING Prediction I predict that the higher the temperature the higher the rate of enzyme activity, which would result in a higher number of, bubbles being produced, but the temperature should not get too hot or too cold because the process will slow down again. I predict that this is what the graph will look like: Scientific Explanation The chemical reactions that occur in cells all the time do not happen at random. They are under the control of the nucleus. The nucleus controls which enzymes are produced and it is the enzymes, which directly control the reactions. An Enzyme is a biological catalyst. Enzymes control the rate of chemical reactions, which occur in living organisms. The reactions take place in cells. Enzymes work best under certain conditions of temperature. Enzymes are large proteins. Each enzyme has an active site, which is responsible for controlling one reaction....
