Prediction: I believe that when you increase the temperature of the solution containing the enzymes, the rate of reaction will also increase until the optimum temperature at which the enzymes work at is reached, this is about 40 degrees C. Once this temperature has been reached I believe that the rate of reaction will decrease until the temperature exceeds 60 degress, at this point the enzymes will become denatured and will no longer be able to speed up the reaction. I also believe that a reaction with an enzyme present will be more efficient in that more reactions occur, than a reaction without enzymes. Reason: Before a reaction can take place, there must be sufficient energy known as activation energy. Enzymes speed up reactions by providing an alternative route for a chemical reaction, therefore lowering the amount of activation
