APPARATUS: I used all of the following equipment; *White tile *Knife *Ruler *Weighing scales *12-test tube *Glucose solution *Borer *Two test tube ranks *Potato pusher *Potato CONSTANTS: I will keep all of the following the same: *The size of the potato *The volume of solution *How long the potato will stay in the solutions *The potato will be stored in the same place *The potato will be stored at the same temperature VARIABLES: I will change the concentration of the solution (Dw, 0.1, 0.5, 1, 5, 10%) To create a fair test certain aspects of the experiment will have to be kept the same whilst one key variable is changed.
