Title: How the concentrations of the sucrose solution changes affect osmosis occurs in potato chips? Introduction: Osmosis is a special form of diffusion applied to the movement of water molecules. Under osmosis, water flows from a higher water potential area (more water molecule) to a lower water potential area (less water molecules, more concentrated). Osmosis always practice in plants during the transpiration of water. Since water is transport from one place to the other, we can observe the rate of osmosis/water movement by weighting the plant. In our experiment, we used 6 different concentrated solutions to test how the molar of the sucrose solution changes affect the mass of the potato chip. Variables: We are trying to keep the following constant in the experiment: - The amount of sucrose solution used. We obtained it by using syringes to measure the amount of sucrose used are 25 ml each. - The length of each potato chip....
