Effect of enzyme activity and temperature. Elaine Raven Statement: I am going to analyse how temperature affects enzyme activity. Method: I will set up the apparatus as show in the diagram, making sure they are all clean of foreign substances. I will then cut the potato. Once I have put on my safety goggles I will measure out 50mls of hydrogen peroxide, then heat it using the flask, thermometer, Bunsen and tripod to one of our five test temperatures. Then out the hydrogen peroxide into the chronicle flask and secure the bun as soon as possible. Then after five minutes I will measure how much the water in the measuring cylinder has decreased. The measuring cylinder will be held by the clamp stand. To set up the water bath I will fill the water bath with water then fill the measuring cylinder out my hand over the top making an air tight...
