Heart Rate Between the two sets of data, group A and group B I have concluded that there is not a significant difference. I calculated the degrees of freedom by using a statistical table which calculated a value of 2.03. However, the graph suggests that the resting heart rate of group B is higher than group A. The graph shows a pattern but the t-test is more accurate because it is a mathematical method for calculating if there is a significant difference between two sets of data, showing statistical values. The data that we were given was very limited in several ways, for instance the sample size is too small and therefore not very accurate. There isn't a mention of gender, age, height, weight, medical problems and if they drink or smoke and how often. It does not tell you how much exercise they do and what type of exercise it is....
