THE EFFECTS OF EXERCISE ON THE BODY By Michael McFarlane Introduction When we exercise our body heats up and we begin to sweat to get rid of our body's heat. To get rid of the heat our body sweats to the water that comes out of our pores and slowly heats up using the heat from the body which makes it evaporate off the body. When it evaporates it takes some heat and also some moisture from our skin. This might make you want to drink some water this makes up for the loss of water when we sweat. When we exercise our muscles need oxygen (O2) and glucose (C6H12O6) so our works more. We breathe in more oxygen which goes into the lungs then into the heart which pumps the blood around through the veins and arteries. The oxygen and glucose is transported through these arteries and veins to the muscles...
