Haematology Department: The Haematology Department specialises in blood. It separates into three areas - Haematology, Transfusion Science and Immunology. Haematology Haematology is the study of blood. It identifies symptoms based on the patient's blood sample to support medical pathologists and help with diagnosis. Scientists in this discipline are involved with the formation, composition, functions and diseases of the blood. They are called Haematologists.
