Ginny McCullough The Heart line 12/10/02 Saturday morning, the birds in an array of disorderly flight and song in the mid summer sky. The person who I had helped Brian Tinsley, lay in a blood bath on the side of the road with sunshine reflecting in the crimson mess. A swift driver had hit his car; his head knocked the dashboard then glass imbedded his head like an attack of glass wasp stings. He was hurled back into the driver's seat and lay rigidly unconscious. A large piece of jagged glass that was shaped like pointed teeth slide into his side like he was butter. The paramedics arrived at the scene of the mechanically driven slaughter car. Brian was carefully taken out of the car and put onto a stretcher. The paramedics tenderly removed the glass from Brian's slashed side. He was given drugs that turned the pain into a dreamy delirium....
