The process takes place in cell cytoplasm and the microchondria. For the glucose energy to be used more effectively oxygen is need. Glucose + oxygen = ATP (energy) + carbon dioxide + water. But if the exercise is fast and the heart cant cope then anaerobic respiration takes place. This is without oxygen when the heart cannot supply blood and oxygen to the muscles as fast as the cells use them. Aim We are intending on doing running as our experiment.
