Heart Rate Investigation By Samuel Bell Aim: The Aim of this investigation is to investigate the effect of exercise on pulse rate. Variables: ? Pace of exercise - this can affect the investigation because the quicker the pace the higher the pulse rate and vice versa. ? Temperature - this can effect the investigation because the higher the temperature, while exercising, the harder it becomes to exercise. ? Type of exercise - this can effect the investigation because certain exercises are more demanding than others therefore increasing the heart rate. ? Length of time of exercise - this can effect the investigation because the longer you are exercising for the higher the heart rate will become. ? Fitness of person - If the person is particularly fit their resting heart rate will be lower. Also if they are extremely fit, short time of exercise should not show a great effect on the heart rate. ? Dietary concerns - If the...
