Ice Herd The wind was like a strong ice-cold herd of bitter silent galloping horses, which stormed through the woods passing from tree to tree. Spreading the ice-cold storm, as they went, leaving nothing to nature, they entrapped everything in the cold. The ice-cold herd and bitter silence entrapped each tree. Jagged icicles like spears hung down from every leaf ready to drop onto and kill unsuspecting victims. The bitter silent ice cold herd of head strong horses galloped by passing the touch of death to every once living green blade of grass trapping it in the frozen world. Leaves that once blew free, rustling in the quiet breeze, now lay frozen caught in the frozen herd. The galloping ice herd now carried frozen leaves. Jagged ice icicles grew on the leaves yet still they tried to be free. Birds took off in fright when the ice herd galloped towards...
