Introduction to aerobic respiration and anaerobic respiration Anaerobic and aerobic are different types of respiration. Aerobic respiration is respiration-using glucose and oxygen. Aerobic respiration produces water, carbon dioxide and energy. Aerobic respiration only takes place in living things. In Aerobic respiration water and carbon dioxide are waste products that are gotten rid of by the body. Anaerobic respiration is different from aerobic respiration in many ways. One of the ways that they are different is that anaerobic respiration does not use oxygen. Anaerobic respiration uses just glucose when respiring. The products are carbon dioxide, alcohol and energy.
