Electrical Installation Element 2: - The general first aid facilities in most work places include first aid kits in almost every workroom in case of an accident. - There are many procedures to follow in case of an accident depending on the symptoms and the seriousness. The most obvious procedure for many accidents is to make the casualty lie still so you can check for any obvious injuries and if needed call for medical help. Although in very serious injuries there are particular procedures to follow to relieve unnecessary pain or prevent permanent disability and also call an ambulance urgently. The accident then has to be reported immediately to the site supervisor. When the incident has come to an end the details of the accident should be written down in an accident book.
