Prediction: I predict that during exercise, my pulse rate will increase because blood is being pumped faster around my body. The energy is taken out of oxygen and sugar needed for my muscles to respire aerobically. Aerobic respiration is the release of energy from glucose or another organic substrate in the presence of Oxygen.
