Planning Experimental Procedures When yeast respires it releases CO . So if there is more yeast, the more CO will be released. I have to plan an investigation to find out what effects the rate of respiration in yeast. I have used scientific knowledge to help, me with the plan. I used background information on yeast and respiration to find out what gases are given off when yeast respires and to find the best possible way of carrying out the investigation. To find the information I have used books and the Internet, and then typed it into something I find easier to understand.
